Lens Types/Treatments

Lens add on prices:

All our spectacle lenses come with a scratch resistant coating as standard but you may need other types of lenses such as Bi-focals  Hi index (thinner lenses) or Varifocals, with a number of different treatments to ensure you get the best out of your specs. The following is a list of lens types and treatments and the price that will be added to your order

Lens Types:

Bi-Focals - £25

Varifocals - (Due to the accuracy needed when dispensing varifocals, we can only supply varifocals if re-glazing an old pair your comfortable with ,so that we can copy the existing measurements or send us a pair your comfortable with and we will transpose the measurements from that onto your new frame. Please email enquiries@spectol.co.uk with any questions.)  - £40

Hi-Index 1.6 (thin lenses) - £40

Hi-Index 1.67 (thinner lenses) - £60

Hi-Index 1.74 (thinnest lenses) - £90

All hi-index lenses have anti reflection coating as standard

Sunsensors Grey/Brown (change with light) - £30

Lens Treatments:

Anti reflection (reduces glare perfect for driving and VDU) - £15

Tints (Brown/Grey) - £10 (light, medium or dark)

Reglazes into existing frames also available starting from- £25 for full frame single vision (please contact us for details on other lens/frame types)
